Ok, here is what has happened:

I started the anarchy server as an experiment.  What I wanted was to to run a successful, sought-after Minecraft server.  And this is   what I got, or so I thought.  What I have observed is that most people come and go on the server.  Others, really get into the the whole anarchy aspect of the game and that is great.  I'd love to see the world flourish.

For about a year now, I have run a server with friends at  These guys (who help me support that server) want to build and play; they don't want to worry so much about thieving and griefing.  I am on the fence, myself.  I could play either way, but I would rather play on a server with them.  We will continue hosting our white-listed, non-greifing world at  If you are more interested in this style of play, please email me at

I cannot continue to pay for two servers.  Its just too expensive to do on my own.  So here is the offer I will make:

If I can raise $30 per month, I will continue the hosting of the anarchy server (without the timing lag issues you are experiencing now.)  I will run it only with anti-cheat plugins and I will make the top contributors moderators, assuming they can enforce the one rule of the server.

If I cannot raise $30 in the next week (the due date for the bill), I will simply provide the map to whomever did donate and they can continue running the server at another location.  I will assist by posting/tweeting the new server address.

If there are no donations, I will just make the world file available to everyone and you can do with it as you please.

Please email me your Minecraft handle and Paypal email address as well, so that I can match up handles to email addresses.
