The new server is up and populated with a growing number of reasonable players.  I've invited those from the old server that I felt were of similar interests and I hope for our numbers to continue to grow.  To those of you now white-listed, feel free to invite your real-life friends (of similar interests) or request, on their behalf, that they be white-listed.  The best way for them get in is for them to fill out the application survey.

I have installed a few plugins, but only one that alters the mechanics of the game, MapClone.  With this plugin, you can clone maps with this recipe:  OPP, PIP, PPP where O is the original map, P is paper and I is an ink sack.  If you hold shift while crafting, this recipe creates two of that original map.  The other plugins allow me to enforce the rules of the server and do other admin tasks.

The rules are: no griefing, no stealing, no hacks and no handouts. Thus far, these rules haven't really been enforced because the server was still new and I had no way to know who was not following the rules. I've done a few item gives for a variety of reasons, largely to be fair when some were being migrated from the other server and others were not.  I will not continue to do gives.  I would like to play the game too.

About the 1.9 update
From what I have read, the terrain generation will be changing and this means that our current world would not be compatible with the new one. I.e.: the transtions would not be smooth when walking to new areas.  If this truly is the case, I will generate a new world. However, I will import your old buildings and inventories upon request.  To keep this easy, please try to keep creations you would like to bring simple.  Stuff built into a mountainside can be tricky.
